Types of Membership


Full Member: more than 50% of income derive from journalistic work.

Associate Member: less than 50% of income derived from journalistic work.

Public Relations Member: full time work in public relations sector.

Student Member: student of journalism or communications.

How to join?

Simply fill out an application form and fax to the HKJA for formal approval. Entrance fee is $50, annual fee is $200 (Total $250). You will be sent a membership card and will become eligible for all HKJA benefits. Student membership is only $50, covering both annual and entrance fees.
