Taipei and Kaohsiung Mayoral Elections Study Tour

Taipei and Kaohsiung Mayoral Elections Study Tour

The Hong Kong Journalists Association has previously organized study tours for various elections in Taiwan for journalists to meet with candidates and officials from opposing parties. These tours afforded participants a better grasp of the situation and the strategies during the campaign. The Taipei and Kaohsiung Mayoral Elections are scheduled for 9 December this year. The HKJA is preparing a five-day election study tour that includes more than the above-mentioned objectives. We will also meet with government officials responsible for the elections, academics and a seminar for Taiwan journalists familiar with election reporting to share their experiences with us. These events should make this tour to Taipei and Kaohsiung very useful for our journalists.

For enquiries, please contact the HKJA Office at 2591-0692
