The HKJA Luncheon, Guest Speaker: Cardinal Joseph Zen
 
Since 1997, the Catholic Church has stood and spoken for the underprivileged and human rights on various local social issues.
 
As Christmas is coming soon, the Hong Kong Journalists Association invites Cardinal Joseph Zen, bishop-emeritus of Hong Kong Catholic Diocese to be our guest speaker in our second luncheon. Cardinal Zen will deliver a short speech entitled, "Prophet in modern society: The Church as an advocate for social justice and human rights".
 
His outspokenness on social justice issues, wit and wisdom has made Cardinal Zen one of the most popular speakers in Hong Kong. Don’t miss this valuable chance to meet Cardinal Zen!
 
Details of the lunch with Cardinal Zen as followed: 
Date: 14th December 2010 (Tuesday)
Venue: Lulu Restaurant, South Pacific Hotel, 23 Morrison Hill Road, Wan Chai
Time: 12:30pm – 2:30pm 
  (12:30pm – 1:00pm Reception)
(1:00pm - 1:40pm Lunch)
  (1:40pm - 2:30pm Speech and Q & A session)
 ** The speech will be conducted in Cantonese
Fee:  Member - $230; Student Member - $180; Non member - $250
Quota: 50
 
Please sign the reply slip below, and email hkja@hkja.org.hk or fax 2572-7329 with the bank receipt to HKJA before 12 Dec 2010 for the reservation. Our HSBC account number is 002-4-228298.
